The story starts off with the life of protagonist’s parents who is Kasi Viswanath and Sushma (Raksha). His parents fall in love and get married. Yet, his father Viswanath never takes the plunge to understand Sushma and her feelings. Lav kumar (Sai Subhakar) is their son who becomes an adult under the eyes of their loveless parents.
His acquaintance with girls starts off at an early age of 6, when he presents a chocolate to his next door neighborhood girl, Pinky on his birthday. But, he gets heart broken when Pinky presents it to some other boy, adding that it was she who bought it for him. Seeing all this leaves a deep scratch in Lavkumar and creates an impact in his mind that girls are not trustworthy. So, as he grows up, he becomes a boy with an attitude. He starts flirting with girls all the way teamed up with his buddy Sinu (Narasimha). Although his flirty talk earns him a slap or two, he never changes path. But, in the end he gets enlightened under a mango tree and decides to woo a girl rather than trying random stones on many aimlessly.
In comes Anu (Madhavi Lata) with whom he starts his wooing techniques to hook up. A competitor named Navin, who resides near Anu’s home, gives Lav a tough time. He also tries to win her heart which leads to repeated clashes between Lav and Navin. In a twist, Lavkumar gets to save Anu’s father from a heart attack. The incident develops a soft corner in Anu who befriends Lav, and the relationship upgrades to love. However, the devil in Lav makes him to take Anu for granted.

He tries to flirt with others girls too which disappoints Anu immensely. A dejected Anu plans to relocate during when Lavkumar’s mother Sushma dies of brain tumor. A series of changes takes place as his father who is always irritated and restless, becomes silent and poised. All these make Lavkumar realize the depth of relationship and the purity of love. In what way do Lavkumar get back to Anu is to be watched on screen.
